US maize sales to EU 'essentially stopped'
Europe's inability to "demonstrate a functioning regulatory system" has led to a situation where its purchases of US maize, maize gluten feed, and distillers dried grains and solubles (DDGS) have "essentially stopped". As a result, the American Seed Trade Association (ASTA) is phasing out its 'Market Choices' program, which was designed to help growers and grain handlers segregate non-EU approved maize products. More†
