Monsanto develops soy product for Brazil
Consistently, Monsanto has focused on developing products addressing the needs of farmers in North America, albeit products which later prove to be useful for famers elsewhere around the world. Monsanto has departed from this pattern with the development of insect-resistant soy -- something needed by farmers in Brazil. After that, it's back to business as usual, which is getting import permissions from Brazil's international trade partners.
