This site runs on Bondware. If you like the function and appearance of this site, Bondware gets the credit.

This site uses RSS, which makes it possible for you to receive an alert each time this website has new news.

Many browsers, such as Internet Explorer and Firefox, have a built-in RSS reader.

If you subscribe to lots of RSS feeds and need more functionality, you may want to consider an 'aggregator'. GMObelus highly recommends Feedreader. RSS 'power users' should consider RSS Owl. This software easily allows you to monitor hundreds of RSS feeds, like any other. However, to avoid information overload, wTicker allows Boolean filters. Better yet, it's freeware.

English is fairly tolerant of mistakes in grammar and punctuation, but HTML/CSS is not. To compose articles without the drudgery of hand-coding, KompoZer does an excellent job. It "feels" like your average text editor, but uses web-compatible formatting. The program allows you to choose between CSS and HTML, and you can flip between the "normal" and code view any time you want. It's freeware, as well.

Few things are more tedious than dealing with imported text with stray formatting elements. And, when emailing friends and colleagues with text, extra carets and line breaks from previous correspondence mess things up. The cure for this is TextMorph, which mercilessly cuts things down to delimited ASCII, and makes text obedient. It's also freeware.

Paint.NET is also freeware, and was used to design the header, logo and 'favicon' for GMObelus.
